Assessment for Learning (AfL)

Our AfL strategy is an integral part of the teaching and learning process. It goes beyond traditional testing by providing ongoing feedback that helps students understand their progress, identify areas for improvement, and set personalized learning goals.

Diagnostic Assessments: At the beginning of each term or unit, we conduct diagnostic assessments to gauge students’ existing knowledge and skills. These assessments help teachers tailor their instruction to meet the individual needs of each student, ensuring that learning is targeted and effective.

Midline Assessments: Throughout the term, midline assessments are used to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. These formative assessments provide valuable insights into how well students are grasping the material, allowing for timely interventions and support where needed.

Endline Assessments: At the end of each term or academic year, endline assessments evaluate student achievement against the learning objectives. These summative assessments not only measure academic performance but also provide a comprehensive view of each student’s development across multiple dimensions.
